The Presidential Prerogative

Next Saturday (April 18) is the "Bloomin' Temple Bike Tour."  We need the entire club's support in order to make it a successful event.  Please let Susan Connolly or Karen Mayo know if you can volunteer for the event.  The ride should be over by noon so you can walk over and enjoy the Bloomin' Temple festivities.

I also need volunteers to help stuff 300 "goodie bags" for the riders.  I would like to do this at my office, located at 1400 South 31st at 5:30, Monday evening.  If we could get 10 people, it will go very smoothly and quickly.  Beverages will be served.

There will be a volunteer meeting held after next week's regularly scheduled Rotary meeting.

Last Week's Meeting

Marda KeithRotarian of the Day, Jack Morris brought not only his lovely wife, Georgia, but also the program!  He introduced Marda Keith of the Temple Garden Club, who gave us numerous tips on how to keep our yards green and healthy.  The program was very well received and I don't think there has ever been so many questions asked by the club.  Everyone gets a special club participation award for last week!  Thanks Jack for a great program.
